WELCOME
I help BIPOC folks who grew up with modest means and are now at the intersection of money, means, and melanin navigate the ambiguous anxiety that’s draining the joy from their accomplishments.
Let’s work together to ignite change, and “burn” what doesn’t serve you as you embark on reseeding your life with thoughts and experiences that allow you to unapologetically thrive and radiate.
You've been asked
"You good?" one too many times,
and are realizing
"No. I'm not."
You grew up without financial stability and now are in a place where you are financially abundant.
From the clearance rack to Brother Vellies and Off-White, and “we have food at home” to last minute dinner reservations at sunset with a bird’s eye view.
But there’s this discomfort that burns low and slow underneath each work meeting, each outing with new friends, each outing with old friends, each time you’re meeting someone new in this new tax bracket accessible space–
"Imposter”. “You don’t belong here”. “This is all temporary”. “They don’t really like you”. “Don’t fuck this up”.
Sometimes it’s just a few glowing embers and you’re feeling grounded and joyful af. Other times it’s a wildfire being fed by microaggressive comments from “well meaning” peers, or passive aggressiveness from your “day ones” who haven’t landed softly yet and are debating whether you’ve “sold out” in the comments of your latest Instagram post.
Damn. You were excited to post about that trip to the Seychelles. That had been your dream since you were in 8th grade and had that one short lesson about geography.
You’re distracted, unfocused, and masking that you’re burning up inside, with a forced chuckle and smile while ordering a round of drinks on you to change the subject and get everyone to stfu.
You’re feeling angry, resentful, embarrassed, exhausted, isolated, silenced, and can’t show it.
But you want to be in that carefree, joyful, energized, and secure place you imagined you’d be in.
You can, and you will. Let’s meet and get started.

I’m glad you’re here, thinking about taking a much deserved step towards a healthier you. I’m Katerina, the daughter of Anna and Russell, granddaughter of Eva and Constantine, Mandel and Ruby, and the living representation of resilience and joy from my ancestors that spanned the American South from Africa, and Greece.

Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.
